Highlights from 2010 Mini Reunion
2010 CLASS OF 1964 HONORARY MEMBERS
In the 46 years that our class has continued its reunions, many people have contributed their time, energy, resources and love to make each gathering better than the last. We have been fortunate to have spouses who have spent tireless hours decorating, folding mailouts, running errands, painting, hanging signs and banners, cooking, and all the other little things that we as a class have taken for granted.
This year, the Class Alumni Committee voted to give special recognition to those individuals by inducting them into our class as Honorary Members of the Taylor County High School Class of 1964.
From left to right Presenters were Classmates, Mike Kirkland and Cathy Nix Schoenfeld; Honorary Class Members, Aaron Hendry (Husband of Class Member, Semealia Brannen) - Carol Gunter (Wife of Class Member, Tommy Gunter) - Belinda Wright (Wife of Class Member, Ronnie Wright) - Edwin Altomare (Husband of Class Member, Karen Bellot) - Joey Taylor (Husband of Janice Freemant Taylor) - Not pictured, Linda Mangum (Widow of Classmate, Jimmy Mangum).
CLASS OF 1964 KING
It has become customary to have a King and Queen to reign over Homecoming Festivities - to bring out class into the "times" Classmate, Margaret Martin entered the names of all male members in attendance at the mini reunion and then we drew the name for our Class of 1964 King - MIKE KIRKLAND!

Margaret Crowns the KING!

King, MIKE KIRKLAND and Queen, CATHY NIX. Crowns designed by Classmate, Bobby Black Murphy

Homecoming Queens are not allowed to keep the crowns worn for the Homecoming Festivities. This year the Class of 1964 presented the Queen a crown to be hers and hers alone. Crowned by Classmate, Gae Wood Hollowell as overseen by King, Mike Kirkland. WHAT AN HONOR!

Our class reunions are filled with good clean fun - we often enjoy the talents of our classmates. This year Jimmy Lewis and Penny Whitfield Dixon entertained us with the "Ham Bone!" Under the direction of our Class Music Director, Deanna Mann Lamb.

Bobby Black Murphy entertained us with a medley of oldies! Not only is she an accomplished pianist - she is funnier that Moms Mabley!!!
