Ted Colson Ted Colson served in the 82nd Airborne Division, Support Command, Special Services, United States Army, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina from 1964 to 1967. Ted was one of the soldiers instrumental in recapturing the American Embassy in the Dominican Republic in 1965. If you are interested in learning more about the 82nd Airborne, there is a web site devoted to its history and accomplishements on the Internet, including the Dominican Republic encounter. Ted has provided us photos of his military days.
